A rather slow growing shrub, Hydrangea macrophylla ’Princess Juliana’ is a late season bloomer at first a creamy white, then turning blush pink with age. Reputed to tolerate more sun than some although we haven’t seen that here in Georgia and we get plenty of sun. Height to 4 feet. Zones 6-9.

A smaller shrub at maturity than ’Mme Emile Mouillere’, Hydrangea macrophylla ’Sister Therese’ is the other choice for a white mophead. Reputed to remain pure white, we have seen her tinged with pink as in Mouillere. But this is only on close observation. At any distance, white is what you see. Not as cold hardy as ’Mme Emile Mouillere’ in our experience, but fine nonetheless. Deciduous, for partial shade, in zones 6 - 9. Mature height about 5’ & as wide.
