Nurseryman Don Shadow selected this heavily flowering form of Chionanthus retusus from the A. F. Sanford estate known as "Boxwood" in Knoxville, TN. It is a precocious bloomer with white flowers that cover the tree in mid-to-late spring. Height to 20 feet or more. Rounded, shiny green leaves are an added complement. An exceptional plant. Deciduous. Zones 6 - 8.
